Father's day

Just something I remember from the late 80s I guess, Combat the TV series and more recently, the Die Hard bank heist sequence have same music.



1 Thessalonians 4
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.


The Bible uses metaphor so there's nothing supernatural in this. Its a father welcoming his child into the world. It could be any situation or persons similar to this.

Hebrews 6
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3And this will we do, if God permit.
The Bible is a guide which speaks of love. A religion from the Bible speaks of love whether they be Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists or any religion. That said, the relationship is between you and the Father so any religion that prevents that is against the Bible. We should be free to choose whatever religion we wanted. Or whoever we wanted to marry regardless of religion cause it says in Hebrew leave the principles of the Bible. Follow your heart.
