Hero

Its a film starring Jet Li. He belongs to a group of assassins who wants to kill the Emperor. 'Li' devised a way he can get close to the Emperor Qin. At the palace, you have to be in a particular distance which is safe for the Emperor. However you can get close if you kill enemies of the state. 'Jet Li' closed the distance with his killings or victories and some are willing victims. When 'Jet Li' had the distance to kill the Emperor, the Emperor said something like war is necessary for peace. So that there would only one kingdom. And 'Jet Li's insurgence only means that it is dividing people. So 'Jet Li' realized the reason why another assassin did not kill the Emperor when the assassin had the chance. In the end, 'Jet Li' lets himself be executed. This was known later as the Qin dynasty. What do you think guys? It has the quote below after:
"To reconstitute political life in a state presupposes a good man, whereas to have recourse to violence in order to make oneself prince in a republic supposes a bad man. Hence very rarely will there be found a good man ready to use bad methods in order to make himself prince, though with good end in view".
I think it just simply means kill the bad ways which prevents the nation to be united. For nations to be united, they have to be united in hearts, thinking and actions. However I have I problem with the film. See the pictures below:

You see there's a body being carried out. But then in the next picture you don't see the traces of arrows and blood in the wall. Was 'Jet Li' killed? Or he escaped? Am I missing something? This has puzzled me for a long time.

The Emperor here is the Roman Catholic Church and the two assassins are religious sects in the PH. Iglesia ni Cristo (Kristo). The Old Path.

I think what this means is to call the Pope as our Godfather, and down to the priests, not as Father because when it comes to faith, there is only one Father, the one in heaven.
Matthew 23
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
We are talking of faith. Of course with regards to the flesh, you can refer to your dad and other people as father.

Okay I am a big fan of The Godfather that is why I researched about the Olive tree. Don Corleone has an Olive oil business.

Now one asks since we are all servants why not refer to leaders as our brother. Because the Bible talks of hierarchy - there should be a bishop and deacons. And as the Bible allows, you can decide what to call the Highest Person in authority, be it the Godfather or anything, as long as it is not Father. That said, we should not refer to priests as father as well.

When you act like a leader, sound like a leader and yet you wanted to be called as a commoner smells of either arrogance or ignorance.

And as an active leader, you must be in the battlefield like Tywin Lannister. A commander does not hide in the comforts of his own home. I remind you again that it should be the same as in Earth as it is in heaven. Physical and spiritual. That is why we see legwork is necessary for world leaders. Like Tywin Lannister.

1 Timothy 3
1 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.    2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
