Fragile

"Fragile"

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are
How fragile we are how fragile we are

This song from Sting is about moving on. Steel like knives and bullets should not be used on human flesh. Of course we cannot fully erase the memories and we should treat it as learning experiences. Wars are decisions of the select few so we should not blame the whole nation for it. Like the Philippines was ruled by Spain, USA and Japan but those bad memories of colonization were replaced/ are being replaced with goodwill from those countries. People should make new memories. Happy memories. That is why entertainers, politicians and persons of influence should realize their moral obligations. They can amuse, inspire, make people laugh, cry, sing and dance. Most of all they teach the good word.

Code of Hammurabi

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth". This rule among others has Mesopotamian origins long before the Bible was written or before the Romans and Greeks have their culture. I have stated that these are all mis-understood rules. Why must people take one another's life? These people need second chances and that these people can change, do good things and help others. Let us see other rules of Hammurabi:

If any one bring an accusation of any crime before the elders, and does not prove what he has charged, he shall, if it be a capital offense charged, be put to death.
Say you accused a person of a serious scandal, its now also the accused person's duty to defend himself and put to death the allegations against him. Common sense.

If he satisfy the elders to impose a fine of grain or money, he shall receive the fine that the action produces.
The golden rule: The Bible, Matthew 7:12 "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."; Confucius, "What you do not wish for yourself, do not do to others."; Newton's 3rd law, “For every action force there is an equal and opposite reaction force"; In Taoism, the Yin and the Yang.

If a judge try a case, reach a decision, and present his judgment in writing; if later error shall appear in his decision, and it be through his own fault, then he shall pay twelve times the fine set by him in the case, and he shall be publicly removed from the judge's bench, and never again shall he sit there to render judgement.
Talk about policing the police.

If any one buy from the son or the slave of another man, without witnesses or a contract, silver or gold, a male or female slave, an ox or a sheep, an ass or anything, or if he take it in charge, he is considered a thief and shall be put to death.
Piracy, illegal downloading and the like. Punishment is stoppage or death of the habit.

And so on. These are mis-understood rules. These are all symbolism, metaphors and other forms of speech. People should review their religious texts and evaluate it.

Breaking the cycle

In the Philippines, seems to me there is a cycle of vendetta going on. I mean the past administrations are being crucified instead of focusing on positive endeavors. The case of Arroyo I mean, I admire the lady for her iron will and the way she delegates tasks when she was in office. Its like master class. I am somewhat ignorant about her corruption charges and if found guilty, she deserves punishment. What I am saying is everyone deserves a second chance. One more bright brain can help the government a lot. We should not look back on the past and its better to have reconciliation as a nation. Not a slight to the current administration though. I am not that immersed in politics and so you can just treat this as an opinion from the uninformed and uninitiated.

Personal hygiene

Growing your hair
For those balding people, take this advice. Mix equal parts of ground cinnamon, honey and olive oil added to warm water and apply to the bald area. It works cause I have tried this mixture. This is people with thinning hair at the sides for example. However if your case is hopeless, I suggest you have it shaved all the way. You apply this to your face as the grits smoothen the face. You can also drink it, definitely cause the ingredients are edible although I don't know what exactly what it does to the body. Word of caution though. For girls who might try this, you might grow facial hair which is not attractive at all.

Nails
Something I noticed with fingernails and toe nails. When you walk a lot, your toe nails grow faster than when you are idle couch potato. Same thing happens if your fingers are busy, like when when you are typing everyday. It may be that you are just busy but I have observed it many times. Okay I know this might not be ground-breaking and all but just something to talk about.

Natural disasters

There is no religious significance in these natural disasters. Its a way of nature of balancing things out. Earthquakes, volcanoes, typhoons, flooding. It might seem cruel that many people have to die and I sympathize with them. But this is what I believe in. Maybe the place is over-populated and that the garbage and pollution is too much that nature has to react to cleanse itself. That is why we must protect the environment. Think of it as a person which has hygiene and has feelings. We take showers to take off the grit and the dirt we accumulated. We also clean our teeth, mouth, ears and etcetera. We also cry cause it is nature's way of relieving pain. All the pollution in the air, water and earth is hurting nature so we must do our roles in protecting it.

These days (15)

Thor's hammer
The hammer is called Mjolnir and only the worthiest of heroes can wield the weapon and the power it bestows. Aside from Thor, from the article I read there are 12 other characters in comics that has lifted the Mjolnir. I think the hammer symbolizes knowledge. Let's say I have knowledge and other people have moved and influenced me and become my role-models. Like other people have their own hammers and role-models. Spiderman says, With great power comes great responsibility. I guess that is a call for celebrities (including politicians and other persons of influence) to be good role-models to people they mold.

On insecurities
I like going to the arcades and drive. Sometimes I challenge these kids and be beaten by them. Thing is, at one thing or more, there will be people better than you and just the same, sometimes you are better than most people. What I mean is no one is perfect. Do what you do best. So people just shrug their insecurities and believe in themselves and start living. As Aerosmith say, life's a journey not a destination.

Artificial intelligence
The film Terminator 3 type extinction level event, I do not think it happens. For me there still be limitations for robots. The power source, the battery or they can get short-circuited. Humans still inherit the earth.

Vball girls
Read that our under-23 Women's Volleyball will be competing this May 1. I hope our kababayans will support our girls cause you can see that they enjoy playing and competing. You know the strategies, teamwork and combination plays are complicated and as a true sportsfan it makes you riveted to the plays. I remember watching our NT in the 1991 SEA games before. They led 2-0 before the Vietnamese ladies mounted a comeback to beat us 3-2. What a dampener that was. I told you guys, I cannot predict boxing games. This is not about Manny v Money. I love watching volleyball, no other reason than that. Good luck to our girls, God believes in you.

WTH
What the chinese are trying to build there in the seas? Camp Big Falcon? Are we expecting the boazanian forces? And by that I do not mean Alien beings or the machines in War of the worlds. I do not think so. As I said they probably are incapable of interstellar flight at this time. I am talking about ignorance and education. Just thinking maybe the islands also will be for the purpose of housing education. Like the Alexandria library, the biggest they say in history. With this institute of learning, it can burn the ancient dogmas and traditions that delay human progress.

Arya
Why is everybody talking about Sansa? I think Arya is great. My second favorite after Tywin Lannister. You know that soundtrack when she was learning the sword? This is tremendously relaxing.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU0zNZHCcWU

Bacon
The food of the Gods. Bacon tastes great. And it just makes everything taste better.

War of the worlds
In the novel by H.G. Wells, it tells us of blood-sucking Aliens which invaded the Earth. The Aliens are portrayed as machine-like from the film I saw. The novel is prophetic on how machines or gadgets now consume humans. I mean that literally. My cousin one time passed out because of playing PC games nonstop for 2 days. That is how addicting these modern gadgets are. Its better to look back to our roots and practices. All things should be taken in moderation or with regards to your limits or how you discipline yourself and others.

Planet of the apes
Just thought about this. Its like a wolf and a dog has a common ancestor. What I mean is that we find life outside earth, the conditions will be different so it follows their evolution as well. Imagine aside from apes, we also find the prawns from District 9. I don't know. I'm just kidding you guys.

Sirius and Orion
I already said I am fond of Ancient Aliens the TV series and that the Orion constellation is revered by ancient people. Egyptians believe that their Gods descended from the belt of Orion and the star Sirius. I believe in God that is why I close my eyes when I pray or look up to the skies. You see how can you people trust me when this is my faith? I do not believe in religion. The Bible for me serves as a guide. When I am doubting myself, I turn to this verse by "Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness". Which simply means you have study harder. Okay let me give this a shot. Lets say that Egyptians are right that our ancestors are from the Orion constellation. Why are they not coming back? Lets assume further that they have aged as a civilization and that they are already incapable of interstellar travel although they can send messages with other ways like telepathy for example. Like your old folks, you seldom see them or not at all cause you have your own family. But nowadays you can contact them through telephones. Am i making sense? As a devoted son, is it not your duty to visit your folks? And so to get to Orion and Sirius, kids must learn more about astrophysics and aspire to be astronauts. These warring people must forget what they are fighting for and get educated in universities. The war is against ignorance. The kids must be taught so that the next generations will be smarter and smarter. So until such time we have the technology to reach Orion. There you go, call it what you will. So I mean this song is odd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwCykGDEp7M And the elephant prominently seen throughout the video, I talked about the animal before:

There's this Indian parable titled Blind Men and an Elephant. These blind men touched an elephant in different parts. One who touched the tail says Elephant is a rope, one touched the trunk and says it is a branch of a tree, one touched who touched the belly say it is a wall and so on. People will see what they wanna see. But what people should realize is to see the big picture. See the whole elephant.
http://lukasabridged.blogspot.com/2015/04/these-days-11.html

Cats and dogs
Women are cats and men are dogs. Based on the behavior of my cat, then women sleep at least 12 hours a day and are nocturnal. Extremely moody. Dogs meanwhile welcome their humans with the tails wagging. Most of them bark but will not bite. I do not see any truth in this.

Roots

This is a citronella plant, I get it last weekend. You see the plant is a natural insect repellent. It functions like a smoke bomb. It fills the air with a quite pleasant smell that is why mosquitoes will have difficulty in locating the smell of human blood. Three or four days the plant looks like it might die. Most of the leaves dried out. What I did was to cut all the dried leaves so that nutrients can go to other parts. I also did not forget to water it and give it sunlight. The photo above is taken minutes ago. Many greens have sprouted. Looks like it will thrive in the conditions. I think its because it has strong roots, has good soil aside from the water and sunlight it gets. The dried leaves I put in a container for its smell. The leaves symbolize that experiences whether good or bad, it teaches people. People must have a good foundation or knowledge growing up. With the right environment or neighborhood and further studies that will make them good citizens.

These days (14)

On my playlist
Guys don't make fun on the people mentioned there. I really like their  music and I known them for a long time. Will re=upload later.

Commercial
Sometimes I take fastfood as well. Once or twice a month won't hurt I guess. At my age that is cause it has bad effects apparently. But the human stomach I guess can melt all these food. I accidently took in the hair coloring chemical and it instantly burn right to my stomach. Had to go to the clinic to have it checked. What I mean if your stomach hurts, then its poisonous. I love Jollibee's chicken joy and spaghetti, McDonald's cheese and big mac and Wendy's as well. Have to research more on this if good or bad for health.

America's sweethearts
You ever watched that rom-com flick? Man I tell those are good actors whereas for this film, tentatively titled World's sweethearts, the cast are all beginners. Its hard to deal with all the attention and the circumstances. The pressure gets to people sometimes. Sometimes they enjoy it too much. Sometimes it has the opposite effect. Its like an indie film in a roller-coaster ride. The director is life itself. Okay I won't lie, I watch many rom-coms just as other film genres. I'm a movie buff. When I say He's just not that into you, I'm not suggesting anything. Really. And the Love doctor Hitch? I don't it happens in real life. How about the Twilight, I be honest, its boring except for the first quarter of the movie. I prefer Beatutiful creatures.

JCs
That's why better to watch zombie films like John Carpenter's Vampires and Ghost of mars. You know there's a semblance of truth in the Ghost of mars. You see the movie is about earthlings who colonized Mars and its supposed past civilization. Then the ghosts of Mars meaning the spirits of the beings who live in Mars in the past possessed the human colonizers. Then they behave like zombies. Out of the chaos, there's a leader among the zombies who emerged. That is true in nature. You see a group of monkeys and you will see a leader. I am aware of the initials JC, but who cares about these? It doesn't matter. Okay then I am fond of the works of James Cameron as well. The abyss, Titanic and Avatar. You whats common in these films? Its like they died in one way or another. In the Abyss, 'Ed Harris' was in deepest trenches of the ocean and he went down and down and down into the unknown. They thought him dead and they were surprised at the crackle of radio sound. He was saved by Aliens. The Aliens said something like, People must change to prevent war." Something like that. In Titanic 'DiCaprio' died but his memory lived on in Rose's mind. In Avatar, its like Jake's soul transferred to another body. So I think the more appropriate term is the characters were reborn.

Hiring people
You hire a person for their qualifications, talent and x-factor. Not because of the names or initials. Otherwise you are a fool. I can say that, can't I? Its my blog afterall. Lets say there is a Bill Gates applying for work, is he the same as The Bill Gates? Definitely not. Now you understand. I'm not attacking a person here, everyone should understand. If you think it hit you, then as grown-ups you have to prove yourself to the critics. Otherwise you are unworthy. I have no plans though of being a leader, I am not quick-witted and not a good public speaker. Cause public speaking means connecting to the audience, I am not like that. I'm a strategist or adviser if I may say that word. Hey guys know what to explain this I just have an over-active imagination.

Dragons
Actually what hooked me to the books is the prologue in HBO's Game of thrones. Its just a bad-ass intro to a series. Aside from the moon-door, one of the coolest things there is the burning of Harrenhal castle by the Targaryen dragons. I mean what would a partially-melted castle would look like these days. I know what you guys are insinuating. I actually am a face guy whatever that means. I mean the face interests me. Not what you guys are looking at. Surprised me cause I have not really checked it out. Swear. I really want to get away right now, say to an isolated island. If the Spratly islands for example has amenities and if its peaceful there.

Bad religion
If a religion holds you back to making full use of your talents then its a bad religion. I woke up to a religion where I can practically do anything I want within my means of course. Yup that is how relaxed they are. That is why its a good nursery for people so they can search for knowledge. As I said its a double edged sword. There is good and there is bad. The framework of democracy is good as well although the enforcement leaves a lot to be desired. You have to have good role models and actually walk in it.

Elementary
Some religions will say we are the right one, you have the wrong one and so on. My take on this is your freedom. How much freedom does your religion give you? Does it limit the person you wanna be or you can become? If the religion is too lax or you can do anything you want, I say its a double-edged sword. There is good and bad. On the other hand, if the religion is extremely strict, it wouldn't allow for growth. The members just stagnate. Calm down people I'm talking absolutely about religion here. I have no time for personal agenda cause I have to help the world. Too much killing, suffering, greed and selfishness. I cry.

The bread
As they say a picture paints a thousand words. Somehow I do not understand what it means. Maybe I will see a painting later and write thoughts into words and then count until one thousand.

Billiards
I'm good at this, really. I can putt tough shots and make exhibition shots ala Efren the magician. However the sequencing I cannot get it right. I mean the preparation shots say from ball no. 6 to ball no. 7.

Spectator sports
Go there early so you can watch most of the players. Billiards, badminton, tennis, etcetera... I prefer watching the eliminations in the venues and the next rounds on television. Of course I look around because I have eyes but don't get me wrong. I watch sports for love of the game. Seriously.

Flying a kite
Its actually easy to make a kite - piece of paper attached to a bamboo frame and adequate length of string. The take-off is quite an art. Usually you run with the kite to give it momentum and then take control of the strings. What a feeling when the kite is up there. However this is for small kites. In case of big kites, you need people to help you. My cousins they participate in the Bear Brand Kite-flying contest before. The equipment and accessories used become complex as well with use of aluminum connectors and fixtures. But what I like most about kite flying is the humming sound of the strings. Tantalizing.

About my diet

Eat like a king in the morning, a prince at noon and a peasant at night. I follow this code as much as I can. This means you have to take in large amount of food at the break fast. What it does is push the food to the intestines and the digested material there will be pushed also until it sees daylight. A spectrum of dull colors from black to yellow. Knowing this you have to get up early so that you can answer nature's call. Unless you want to gamble and unleash the wrath at your office toilet if you are a working person. The meat takes longer to digest compared to vegetables. Vegetables are light on the stomach. I usually take less and less of rice cause it breaks down into sugar. If you are an athlete and you need energy then you eat rice cause you can burn the calories. However if you are a couch potato and you eat lots of rice then that is the reason why you are obese or big tummy. Yup thats the indication you are getting fat, your belly. After the belly, your face will puff up. But when you lose weight, its also the belly that gets affected first before your face. That is why sometimes your body is but your face is chubby. Its a process. About sodas I know they have sugar as well but for me, I take it in moderation. If an expert can convince me that sodas bad for the health then I can discontinue drinking it. Corn on the cob and sodas are a nice combo. I think you can have mini-snacks also depending at the food I said earlier, vegetables digest faster. And finally you eat less at night. Because if you eat some more, your body will be further inconvenienced having to digest all that food. Lets say compare the body to a factory. At night time, its not your regular workforce and often times we just close the operations at night. What I mean is that you will sleep more comfortable if you have less food in your stomach when you sleep. With regards to fruits, we have what we call the "superfruits" which includes mango, kiwi, berries and many more. Apparently mangoes are best sources of vitamins and minerals. When it comes to strawberries you see the seeds, you must grind them with your teeth so that vitamins will be released as well. There's this office-mate of mine who read my notes about this and followed it religiously. Whenever there are meeting or get-togethers or occasions, that person refused to eat rice and focused on the dishes only. Which irritated all of us. What a douche. Rice gives you energy fool. However compared to bread, it seems that breads have the growth hormones. The West is taller than rice-eating Asians. Although we can see the effect of western diet in Asia nowadays. Asians are getting taller. Combo of rice and bread does that.

Adam and Eve

The Bible says that Eve was created from one of Adam's ribs to be Adam's companion. The rib-cage protects the organs - heart, lungs, liver and etcetera. We know a liver shot in boxing is paralyzing. If you can time the punch under the lower rib cage. I guess that is the effect of a woman to a man. And since they are made in the same image, the woman is also paralyzed by the man. However it was said, it is only from one rib. Meaning a man will survive even without a woman. He can be alone. Just the same, a woman can live without a man. This one is for personal relationships. With regards to the community, cities and nations, as history will tell us, no man is an island.

These days (13)

David vs Goliath
I think this was a debate. Goliath with all his armor probably was a feared debater. While David was a beginner. The pebbles or rocks that he used suggests he has good foundation with knowledge that is why he hit Goliath in the forehead. Then David used Goliath's sword meaning he used Goliath's own argument to defeat him.

FF7
Remember the scene when half of the bus skidded to a cliff and Walker I think has to go out of the end of the bus, climb on top of it and run to safe ground? They completely copied the video game Uncharted 2! Tsk tsk tsk

Trigonometry
Okay I have said this as my favorite subject. Just remember soh, cah, toa rules for right triangles. SOH means Sine angle equals to opposite length over the hypothenuse length, CAH means Cosine angle equals to adjacent over hypothenuse, TOA is Tangent angle equals to opposite over adjacent. This is easy to memorize and serves as a guide. With a right triangle, you already have a 90-degree angle. For other triangles, you trace a right triangle to divide it and break it down. For more complex problems you listen to your math professors and research math books by yourself or join study groups.

Censorship
All races have good and bad people. All religions as well. That is why we have to pick the good things and rid of the bad. And we have levels of understanding - babies, toddlers, adolescents, adults and the elderly. There are babies that cry and cry, they do nothing but cry because they are still innocent. Toddlers cry a lot as well but can understand simple regulations. Adolescents they still cry but have understanding. Adults are the ones who understands and do what is good and get rid of the bad though they also cry occasionally. The censorship to the internet must be strictly enforced. Like this blog for example is intended for adolescents, adults and the elderly. I can never emphasize enough the value of censorship. The family as the smallest unit of society they must enforce it in their homes. I am really glad that I see heads of the family leading his own flock. My idea is to give free newspapers to the poor so that we can educate the ignorant. Let me be extremely clear on this - the levels of understanding is regardless of your age.

Limiting the vocabulary
Whats happened to our vocabulary. Man people of today give new meaning to gatorade, by, bike, bicycle, mic, microphone, mike, singing, kneeling and etcetera. This is the fault of these dirty minded people. Repent you sinners. By the way, sometimes its unfair that ugly people gets called perverts while they refer to lookers as open-minded.

Versions
When writers cannot think of something to write, or at least worthwhile they refer to it as a writer's block. Or they simply ran into a brick wall. Times like this, I think one must read other materials to have inspiration. I mean most of detective novelists of today, they derive inspiration from writers as far back as in the 20s. You know the hard-boiled crime novelists pioneers. When I compared the materials its like they copied 75%. Not that I am faulting them. At our age and time, everything must have come from something. Its like constant innovation and evolution. Like the airplanes and cars and racing, the makers observed the birds. And the wind mechanics and ergonomics involved in jet and cycling formations or its effect on the design of vehicles.

Mark Twain

This is an essay from Mark Twain:

CHINA AND THE PHILIPPINES
AT A DINNER GIVEN IN THE WALDORF-ASTORIA HOTEL, DECEMBER, 1900
Winston Spencer Churchill was introduced by Mr. Clemens.
For years I've been a self-appointed missionary to bring about the union of America and the motherland. They ought to be united. Behold America, the refuge of the oppressed from everywhere (who can pay fifty dollars' admission)—any one except a Chinaman—standing up for human rights everywhere, even helping China let people in free when she wants to collect fifty dollars upon them. And how unselfishly England has wrought for the open door for all! And how piously America has wrought for that open door in all cases where it was not her own!
I guess the USA and UK did get united. They are a united one. Like the marriage of a man and a woman - they are a united one and yet separate individuals. United in hearts, thinking and action. And all other nations either their children or relatives.

Things i miss

I miss my older brother. He is still here but not the same as before. When we were younger, sometimes we talk overnight talking and laughing about silly things. He is quite talented in writing love letters and classmates would go to him for it. You know as you grow older, you drift apart. Sometimes you have different interests. Sometimes insecurity does that. I don't know. Things change. I miss my childhood. I have sort of posse back in my hometown. When we came to Manila, its different. Its difficult to have relations when your roots are being pulled all the time. Okay here's one silly tip from my brother. He likens a girl to a rooster with its foot fastened to a rope which is tied to a peg. He says you let the rooster run rings around the peg, then you can get the rooster when the rope becomes shorter. Nonsense don't you think? How to tie up the rooster in the first place when its running free? Think of the Rocky scene.

I just remembered the writings from Sun Tzu, he says if you have inferior artillery then make it appear that you have heavy firepower. In the same manner, if you have heavy arsenal, you just do not show it. Meaning have an ace hidden in your sleeves. Or be a snake I guess. What kind of advice is that? Diversionary tactics, the way of the ninja. Related I think to quality versus quantity. Because sometimes, less is more and more is less. Some people may not be the best talkers but they connect to people just as well. And how can you lose with the combination of quality and quantity.

Church and State

No such thing as separation of church and state. Because they have practically same vision and mission. Church or religion should be responsible for the values and well-being of the citizens. The citizens meanwhile should follow a framework of government for them to have these values and I think democracy does that for Filipinos. As an ordinary citizen I can see that. At first glance, the mostly lacking in Filipinos is that they do not follow simple rules here. They would not wait for the traffic lights to turn green. They rather jaywalk than walk hundred meters more. Just stubborn. But when you see them abroad they are wary and follow the rules. So our conclusion is our law enforcers are not effective. This has to change. The motorists as I said. They are unruly. And some I do not think are ready to drive. The government must have tie-ins with the driving schools for strict driving conducts and training.

The church should criticize citizens including politicians because that is their calling. Teach them the values. In the same way, the church must follow the rules of the government. At this point I wonder why religious groups are not taxed? Only in the Philippines? Why the Bible says give the things that are Caesar's and the things of God to God. Jesus paid his taxes. The Philippine government should start taxing these religions, and religions must comply as law-abiding citizens.

Pure Filipino

What is a pure filipino? I can accept Philippine-bred or locally-bred but pure filipino you guys are out of your mind. The Philippines is an amalgamation of races so unless you can trace your roots, you people should shut up. Such a load of bullcrap when filipinos discriminate against their own. In case you do not know, the constitution says that filipinos born abroad are natural-born filipinos because at least one of the parents have filipino blood. Okay I think of it this way. I was not born abroad but a locally-bred one. I was born in the province of Palawan, was raised in Marinduque. I have also relatives in Bataan, Laguna, Batangas and Cebu. So naturally when I am always interested in hearing news about these places and when I have the opportunity to go to these places to visit them, why not? That is why we should educate the ignorant. In a bigger scale, say, that higher powers are keeping track of the Earth? Hey this is for no one in particular. I have this stand in sports forums long, long ago. I can give you proof if you want.

Apocalypse

I am the rocks of the eternal shore. Crash against me and be broken!
I know more of this world than you can even dream. That is why I must destroy it!
You puny humans! - Apocalypse from X-men

I did tell you that suppose these "christians" are story-tellers, with their imagination they concocted stories about Jesus. Also I told you that the writers possibly want to change their names as is not uncommon in today's novelists. Any more questions? I give you an example. When you read these Bible stories about in prison, in dungeon or in chains, its like in a Richard Marx song, "Girl, you've got to break these chains around my heart, 'Cause I've been lonely too long, You've got to break these chains around my heart, So I can finally get on with my life". No, not necessarily about me, just an example.

And the commandment is go and multiply, why are people being hypocrite and hide celibacy in their long gowns. Come on, you are not following God's will. I told you Jesus married, that is implied in the Bible because as authors, they will keep on writing. In view of privacy, my best guess is that he used an alias just like the Katipuneros and writers at the century turn. But do not confuse, this commandment to pro-create without regard for the well-being of the off-springs. We have babies, toddlers, adolescents, adults and the elderly. This command is for adults who understands what it is to be parents. Do not reproduce beyond your means. What we want is for smart people to reproduce smarter children. Eunuchs

In ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh have designated eunuchs to guard his wife. Its like bodyguards but they have castrated reproductive organs to prevent accidents. My opinion is that eunuchs have special skills that is why the Pharaohs entrusted his wife to these people. Why you say. Let tell you about cats, when you castrate them, they become bigger cats. Most of the biggest cats I seen in cat shows are castrated. So does that mean that humans will become bigger when castrated? Not necessarily, but I think their other senses will be more developed than usual thereby having special skills. Like skills for a bodyguard. There are women who have their reproductive organs removed, does not make them less of a woman. Because what they feel is in the soul. More than about the physical. It follows that these nutrients which are supposed to be going to the pituitary gland will be distributed instead to other parts of the body and this is where I think special abilities are acquired.

Fight Club

Okay about time I talk about martial arts. I watched documentaries about martial arts and I can say that there are similarities in the styles, like Judo for example, i seen an Indian tribe doing some Judo moves, so one must wonder. Where did it originate? The chinese of course has their martial arts, as most of the East, meanwhile the West have their boxing and fencing. Bruce Lee was from China to Taiwan to the U.S.A. Meanwhile the couple of Japanese brothers I think went to Brasil and started the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu there. So its also migration that influences people. Like me and my brother were watching Thai boxing before, this thai has a habit of kicking his other calf as his rhythm to throw kicks. So when I told him about it, he thought it was cool, so from thereon he likes to kick his other calf as well. Like I said, globalization influences everyone.

Reviewing films
I also make film reviews when I feel like it:
Inception
I was able to watch Inception again last weekend. The film has an ambitious and unbelievable premise – that some people can influence others by simply tapping into their unconscious minds. It gets crazier when they attempt to influence a dream within a dream within a dream when Di Caprio’s character rescued the japanese. When the Japanese people see this, they would view that Americans are trust-worthy and you can depend on them even to the ends of the earth. Now, that is where real influencing comes in.
Interstellar
Ever since i heard the soundtrack of Interstellar in YT several months ago, i was already looking forward to the movie. The music evoked emotions of excitement, fear, love and hope. And i'm glad the soundtrack mirrored the film. 5/5 stars.
With the movie set at time when Dirt plagues the earth and discovering Gravity as the answer I somehow connected the story to the music industry which many consider as Dirt nowadays. A lot of recent songs also mention Gravity in their lyrics. For one Jordin Spark's No Air. Jordin sounds like Jordan. And Michael Jordan's jersey number is 23. In the movie, 23 years had elapsed when Cooper and Brand (McConaughey and Hathaway) returned to the ring-like space navigator where their shuttle docked and the black man was there waiting. I think this was from their first expedition (Miller's planet?). Ok silly thought maybe but that was the first thing that entered my mind.

Daenerys is a snake
Not a dragon or targaryen. Before you read further, this contains a spoiler so you can stop reading now. I have read the five novels of A Song of Ice and Fire by GRRM, with the Game of Thrones the first book. So in Esos, if I remember correctly, where Daenerys is traveling and gathering troops, she arrives in a city and became interested in a very loyal and capable army known as the Unsullied. The governor of the city meanwhile is interested in one of the dragons so a deal was made. After the deal was made, Daenerys, who already has command of the Unsullied, who I mentioned, are very loyal, she commanded the Unsullied to arrest the governor and she captured the whole city with the trained Unsullied. Not fair. I don't why the author GRRM does that, if you remember Jaime Lannister who was sort of the main man there, he suddenly cut his arm. He sort of become an invalid. How can he continue to be a swordsman? This author is cruel. Like when he let that butcher decapitate the character of Sean Bean, who's the the father of sansa and arya. Arya will later on become somewhat a buddhist and an assassin. My favorite place there is the Eyrie where they have the moon door. The Eyrie is located couple of miles up the valley so the moon door is some kind of where they throw people as death execution. And liken this novels like X-Men set in the medieval time. But the author is kind of slow in writing. Many fans are worried he might not finish the stories. Talk about being pressured. Maybe he is just copying from the anime Naruto. Going back to Daenerys, I remember this parable wriitten by Senator Juan Flavier about a snake and a farmer. You see this farmer raised this snake from a baby. Fed it and cared for it and stuff. But one time, the snake bit him. The farmer asked why. The snake said, "I'm a snake, its my nature". What I mean with this. Maybe its like with the zodiac where the characteristics and traits of animals are like with the person.

Wake up people

Qur'an (61:10-12) "O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty? That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew! He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement."  This verse was given at the battle Uhud and uses the Arabic word, Jihad.
Books can take you as far as your imagination can take you. This means Jihad is to learn knowledge. Films and other media also does that. You must study so you can become successful, contented and happy in life. This is the reward. Come on guys. The war is against ignorance so people must be educated.

These days (11)

Perks of being attractive
Lets admit it, attractive people get ahead most of the time. Because maybe people they associate attractiveness with goodness. And sometimes that is correct. And sometimes not. But what really matters is beauty inside. Sounds like bull I know. You become good inside by studying. That is why I cannot stress enough the importance of education. Without education, you will not realize that people have dominion over animals. A simple experimentation will prove that. Say talk to the animal and ask "1+1=___".

Name-dropping
People do this a lot. Are you that insecure that you have to mention someone popular to be accepted by society or peers? I am friends with this guy, I ate with this guy, I went to this place, I rub elbows with this celeb and so. Actually almost everyone I meet who graduated from U.P. will always, at one time or the other, will say "When I was in U.P.,...." What is the root of this phenomenon? Tell me, I'm all ears. What I can say is that if you are confident and have the brains to back it up, then name-drop all you can. But if not, its a shame to your university. That goes for all unis I guess. :)

Sports betting
There's this Indian parable titled Blind Men and an Elephant. These blind men touched an elephant in different parts. One who touched the tail says Elephant is a rope, one touched the trunk and says it is a branch of a tree, one touched who touched the belly say it is a wall and so on. People will see what they wanna see. But what people should realize is to see the big picture. See the whole elephant. Lets say in a boxing match, why would you search and trust words from a 'wizard' when experts abound there? Honestly this is limiting my vocabulary because I have to review every word and phrase. What I have here is a guide, kind of like the Bible. Trust the boxing and basketball experts for the evaluations.

The blazers
VC is my main man in the NBA but when it comes to a team, hands down its the Portland Trailblazers. Something about the railways logo. Clyde Drexler, Jerome Kersey, Steve Smith, Kevin Duckworth, Arvydas Sabonis, Guaransheed, even Scottie Pippen played there. I occasionally watch them since those days so I am familiar with some like Roy, Aldridge and Batum but these days, not that much. They say the Lillard kid is that good, looks to be true from the clips I have seen.

My beef with beef
Man is to have dominion over plants and animals. Worshiping animals is against the Bible. And there is only one truth. All these ancient texts agree with each other. They have mis-understood and allowed animals to have dominion over them. What do you feel being governed by animals? I must say some people have the intelligence and its up to them to educate their people, from babies, toddlers, adolescents, adults and the elderly. I mean people have different levels of understanding.

Before the waking hours
Not sure on the exact title but the book's a collection of pictures taken in the city before sunrise. So one time I went to feel what is like to roam the streets when everybody is asleep. There is silence, calm and peace. Next time I will take shots. Which brings me to another point. Why aren't people looking forward to the sunrise? Most will say the sunset it is romantic blah blah. For me it is the opposite. Sunrise gives hope, energy and progress. It sets the tone for the day. You will get more activities done if you rise early. Not saying that people work more hours, I'm saying get things done early so you can relax early as well.

Gambit
My favorite X-Men character, his touch charges up energy to any material which explodes when there is too much energy build-up. That is why he always wears gloves to avoid accidently injuring people. He also brings cards for use as shurikens.

Speed
There's this adrenaline rush when you drive fast. I have this Toyota Hilux issued to me as company car. You know the freeways in Malaysia are a long continuous stretch of road. I floored the gas to max speed of about 100mph. For professionals only hehe. Kids do not try this. My co-workers were scared of my driving since then.

Bill Gates
Read he visited the Philippines last week. I have a question. Sherlock Holmes has a brother named Mycroft. Kind of an eccentric guy with eccentric job and eccentric friends. Showed up two times in Holmes' novels. Okay is Mycroft the inspiration for Microsoft?

Sports and Entertainment
These are universal languages, an ice-breaker. For example there's this black guy from Africa in our workplace. He told me he plays football. Then I say you know Drogba. Believe me his eyes lighted up and we chatted some more about football. Next time I saw him he was sporting a Drogba jersey. One time at the tennis courts, I just met this elderly Italian guy. Name's Giuseppe. I told him I am a fan of Gabriela Sabatini who has beautiful one-handed backhand stroke. Of course she's a looker as well. He teached me how to serve later. When I was in Malaysia, like I said Indonesians/Malaysians would ask about Filipino TV shows. Freddie Aguilar's Anak is well-known there. Can't think of more stories this time. But it really is a good thing to open your eyes and see the world. You will influence them and be influenced by them. Essence of globalization. However as I say, keep the good practices and get rid of the bad. I would like to add some people in my twitter however I cannot figure how to unlock my account. I'm not techie.

The Fast and the Furious 7
I don't see why people get emotional with this film. Its funny and some scenes may be hilarious but I felt nothing about it. Seriously. When they showed the pictures from the past, I was like Yeah Okay. Or maybe I am just not a fan of the series that I cannot relate to it.

Ashes to ashes
Actually I seen the Chinese do this practice of ashes to ashes last week. The practice of cremating lifeless bodies is also biblical and scientific. Ashes to ashes it says there. And this helps the environment a lot. Putting bodies in coffins is an absurd way of practicing ashes to ashes. Also you see cemeteries just crowd the cities. The soul leaves the body upon death, you cannot do anything for their souls in the cemetery. Waste of time and space. You want to remember them, then make them proud. Lead a good life that will add to their legacies. Ashes dilutes into the ocean and eventually it joins the dirt. This is even better than having ashes in jars or burying it in land. Thumbs up.

Zodiac
Lets talk about zodiacs although I been talking about it already in previous posts. I am a Piscean and as a water sign I am sensitive as the water takes place of whatever container it is poured into. Like other water sign like Scorpio and Cancer I guess. But the difference I think is like the skin of the fish is soft, meaning they are easily amused and of course easily hurt as well. It shows. Unlike Scorpio and Cancer which have hard shells to cover whatever they are feeling. Inside of these shells are soft meat. Sagittarius I told you already, they want to run wild until they be tamed by a horse whisperer. Taurus is a hard-worker definitely represents the bull family and stubborn but can be controlled when a rope is inserted into their nose and pulled to obey. Leos are lions, the king of the jungle. I read ancient people picks people born under this sign to be leaders. For the other signs, have to know more people of their signs to make observations.

Slamdunk Overload

Slamdunk Overview

Slamdunk revolves around Sakuragi Hanamichi, an absolute beginner in basketball, and how he learns the fundamentals of the game to become a very remarkable player in the end. The writer/illustrator Inoue Takehiko was definitely influenced by the NBA and it shows in the sketches of the players, their likeness, their playing style, attitudes and mannerisms while the love triangle between Sakuragi, Haruko and Rukawa can be likened to a Stan Lee story.

In the succeeding posts, i will be talking about the following Slamdunk characters, teams and their NBA counterparts.

Sakuragi Hanamichi, Shohoku #10
Kaede Rukawa, Shohoku #11
Takenori Akagi, Shohoku #4
Ryota Miyagi, Shohoku #7
Hisashi Mitsui, Shohoku #14
Akira Sendoh, Ryonan #7
Jun Ouzomi, Ryonan #4
Shinichi Maki, Kainan #4
Kenji Fujima, Shoyo #4
Toru Hanagata, Shoyo #5
Kiccho Fukuda, Ryonan #13
Ryoji Ikegami, Ryonan #5

Sakuragi Hanamichi, Shohoku #10
Rebound King? Diving for loose balls? Fiery, explosive, arrogant, trouble-maker and well-known for his exploits on the court as well as off the court. How many hairstyles has he had in his Spurs-Bulls days?

Kaede Rukawa, Shohoku #11
The cool quiet reserve, the acrobatic dunks and furious finishes, and overall versatility. Who else can he be but his Airness himself, Michael Jordan. But Rukawa's legion of lady fans and sleepiness... I'm not sure if that is Jordanesque.

Takenori Akagi, Shohoku #5
Akagi is nicknamed The Fly Swatter and the not-so-endearing Gorilla. He has been the lone bright spot for Shohoku until the arrival of Ryota, Mitsui and the super-rookies. Sounds like the story of Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon.

Ryota Miyagi, Shohoku #7
The speedy guard who proclaims he is the best Point Guard in Japan, is a terrific defender and got some hops too. Why even the haircut resembles Kevin Johnson, who made his name alongside Barkley and the Phoenix Suns when they made a run to the 1993 NBA finals. He made quite an impression on the highlight reels with an emphatic in-your-face dunk on Hakeem Olajuwon.

Hisashi Mitsui, Shohoku #14
The shooting posture is undeniably owned by Jeff Hornacek, the Utah Jazz's sniper from the outside. Interestingly, left knee injury which sidelined Mitsui in his first year is also the injury that forced Hornacek to retire.

 Akira Sendoh, Ryonan #7
The one whom Rukawa and Sakuragi are aching to defeat, the spike-haired point-forward and ace scorer of Ryonan is the alter-ego of Scottie Pippen.

Shinichi Maki, Kainan #4
His all-around game and flexibility makes him Magic Johnson of the Los Angeles Lakers. Check out the purple lettering on Kainan.

Jun Ouzomi, Ryonan #4
Just like Patrick Ewing, his team always falls short of winning in big games. What a laugh when the pair of Akagi and Ouzumi turns Gorilla-like. Hahaha.

Kenji Fujima, Shoyo #4
Fujima is a playing-coach, his deliberate and calculated moves makes him John Stockton.

Toru Hanagata, Shoyo #5
The first dominating big man of the NBA George Mikan throws hook shots like Hanagata. He too uses spectacles.

The Teams
Based on the colors and the style of lettering on their jerseys, Shohoku has to be the Chicago Bulls, Ryonan the Utah Jazz, Shoyo the Boston Celtics, and Kainan, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Alterations

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
Genetic-modificatiion of animals and plants is congruent to the Bible because it were given to men and women to have dominion. Including survival. Moreover, Leviticus 19:28 permits cosmetic surgery as long as it is for the good. I have a flat nose and I can tell that is a source of insecurity for me. So if people have the money to spend, why not? It is for their well-being. They become a new person and can create and/or contribute good things. Same applies to people born with physical imperfections. Like people with cleft lips and palates, I appeal to those who are rich to help these people.

However when it comes to transgenders, it is against the law. Leviticus verse above says that you shall not cut your flesh because of corrupted purposes. The Bible is fair but firm, God created man and woman. What homosexuals have are demons. These are the demons inside humans - lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride. If you have lots of these demons in you, how can you be a good role-model? My advice to homosexuals, if you cannot contain your demons, stay single. You are also made in the image of God meaning you know what is good but you cannot get rid of them. Of course its hard to discipline yourself, so people have to discipline you or give you hell. That said, we should equally give hell to these people who have other demons or sins or corruptions mentioned above. Lets us all criticize and reprimand each other to displace sins.

My family

My Dad was the NFA provincial manager in Marinduque. Previously in Palawan and after he retired, he went to Romblon and eventually with us in Manila.

We were all born in Palawan.

mom is a supermom. I don't think we are showy with our emotions but still I know she loves our family equally. In the zodiac, she is a Libra, a woman blindfolded with a weighing scale. It means she weighs all things first and foremost. Like if we are eating, she talks of the ones not present. I know the difference because I am the favorite of my Dad. Not a slight to her, its just her personality. You cannot force someone to like you and you to others as well. The zodiac really tells a lot. I'm a Piscean, the water sign, it takes the shape of the container. Meaning we are sensitive. That goes for other water signs as well. I told you about my brother, he is a Sagittarius or the horse that is difficult to control unless you are the horse whisperer. Let's see my Dad and my sister have the Cancer sign, the crab, has a

These days (10)

Knock
"The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door..."
*this is the shortest horror story as they say, however, black spinning:
"The last man on Earth sits alone in a room.
There is a knock on the door.
It is from the last woman on Earth."

At the malls
Is like cross referencing books, you can enjoy the variety they have to offer. The twin malls in the West, the SM North Edsa, I have been going there since I was in high school and also now, Trinoma which is the newer one. I'd say the cinemas in Trinoma cut the playing time in movies because I have compared same movie actually. Interstellar played the entire duration in SM MOA. I tole you also about the eyes there, its like exercising when I walk there.

Actually
Actually, I use actually to emphasize a point. Notice there's a pause after the word 'actually', so the listener subconsciously knows that what you will be saying is important.

Studying medicine
Yup this dawned on me just earlier because I always been interested in the advancements in medicine. Problem is I would rather skip dissecting animals and humans. And I am also scared of ghosts and cadavers. Once I find myself at the backyard of the PGH and saw bloated bodies. Its like the Michelin mascot if you know what I mean. So this would be a dilemma because I dunno if it is possible to skip these subjects. And I think this is a requisite to being an Archaeologist. My age also poses another problem. I do not think I can go back to school. I think its better I just study medicine on my own and in my pace.

Orange eyes
I seen a woman with orange eyes. She was a punjabi. She says its the real color not contact lens. Punjabi differentiates themselves from Indians and/or vice-versa because they have lighter complexion. I just talked to her because I like talking to people.

Cinderella
She has glass slippers. Glass is transparent. Slippers used for walking. The way you live your life is like walking as the Bible says. People know the transparency.

Dishwasher
You might think I am lazy because when I am at home I just sit infront of my computer. I actually am a master dishwasher - plates, glasses, spoons and forks and containers. I have developed my own technique you know.

Sun Tzu and the marines
The US navy also uses the Art of War as strategy in the WW2, it states to conquer more territory, it is better to distribute the forces with less men. Like the buddy-buddy system or groups of 3 used by the navy to accomplish more targets. But again, the world is not at war anymore so the interpretation should foster camaraderie and peace. I have to read this again.

Crap and intestine talk
I seem to remember this is getting popular nowadays - people shorten their small intestine to lose weight. I say this is against the rule of nature and will shorten your life. See at one time, horses get extinct in America because they have short intestines. They were only re-introduced back to the Americas. Meanwhile the buffaloes withstood the droughts because of their longer intestines. Having longer intestines means that they absorb more nutrients from same amount of food intake. Take a look at their crap, the horses' crap are loose and undigested. The crap of buffaloes are a solid mound of digested food. In shortening the small intestine, the nutrient absorption is also affected.
