The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments
Exodus 20
1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
God is knowledge as what we been saying all along so I think Verses 1-7 refers to useless, tasteless and dirty reading materials. And that goes to other forms of media like radio, television and the internet. Like I said stop the porn watching.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Sunday is a rest day for most people. God said in Verse 8 to keep it holy. This is for people with irregular time shifts like doctors-on-call and taxi drivers for that matter. In Verse 11 it say God hallowed it or made it holy. Which is why people gets double pay on holidays because it is supposed to be a holiday or a rest day. Volunteers in disaster-hit areas have even more nobler purposes. We should commend these people for sacrificing their rest days. God thinks highly of these people.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 13 Thou shalt not kill. 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
These are self-explanatory.
18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
People are saying teach us knowledge, they are scared cause they cannot understand the book, probably about Trigonometry.
21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. 22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. 23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
In teaching knowledge, there should be no adornments such as gold and silver. All flowery talk and yet there is no learning. That is similar to arrogance.
24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
Earth refers to humbleness when we talk. Remember the Parable of the House Guest? It says stay in the farthest room in a party and wait for the call from the House Master.
25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
Stone means foundation - teach people while they are young.
26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
Students be prepared for your assignments because you do not want to embarrassed in front of the class on recitations or tests.

The Pharisees saw Jesus working on Sabbath day.
Mark 3
1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. 2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. 3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. 4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. 5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. 6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath.
Matthew 12
1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? 6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. 7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
The Golden rule
Matthew 7:12
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Luke 6:31
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

We're all OK

"Hands" from Jewel

If I could tell the world just one thing
It would be that we're all OK
And not to worry 'cause worry is wasteful
And useless in times like these
I won't be made useless
I won't be idle with despair
I will gather myself around my faith
For light does the darkness most fear
My hands are small, I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
Poverty stole your golden shoes
It didn't steal your laughter
And heartache came to visit me
But I knew it wasn't ever after
We'll fight, not out of spite
For someone must stand up for what's right
'Cause where there's a man who has no voice
There ours shall go singing
My hands are small I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
I am never broken
In the end only kindness matters
In the end only kindness matters
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
My hands are small I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
My hands are small I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
We are never broken
We are God's eyes
God's hands
God's mind
We are God's eyes
God's hands
God's heart
We are God's eyes
God's hands
God's eyes
We are God's hands
We are God's hands

Love is magic

Walking on air is like falling in love. In a sense it is like a miracle or magic. In case you have not seen my playlist, see related posts:

Pyramids
Like I tole you before I used to walk in Palau before looking at the corals and just trolling. You see people go here cause its one of the best diving spots in the world. The tiny nation is a republic but is dependent on th U.S.A. I mean their passports are entries to the U.S.A. and they have rights like that of a U.S. citizen. When I saw the view below, I was reminded instantly of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code and the Louvre pyramids. I saw the movie again in HBO recently.

Orinoco flow (Sail away) from Enya

Verse 1:
Let me sail, let me sail, let the orinoco flow,
Let me reach, let me beach on the shores of tripoli.
Let me sail, let me sail, let me crash upon your shore,
Let me reach, let me beach far beyond the yellow sea.

Sail away, sail away, sail away. (x3)

Verse 2:
From bissau to palau - in the shade of avalon,
From fiji to tiree and the isles of ebony,
From peru to cebu hear the power of babylon,
From bali to cali - far beneath the coral sea.

Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up, up adieu. ohh. (x3)

Sail away, sail away, sail away. (x3)

Verse 3:
From the north to the south, ebudae into khartoum,
From the deep sea of clouds to the island of the moon,
Carry me on the waves to the land I've never been,
Carry me on the waves to the lands I've never seen.

We can sail, we can sail... with the orinoco flow
We can sail, we can sail...
Sail away, sail away, sail away.

We can steer, we can near with rob dickins at the wheel,
We can sigh, say goodbye ross and his dependencies
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away

We can reach, we can beach on the shores of tripoli.
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away

From bali to cali - far beneath the coral sea.
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away

From bissau to palau - in the shade of avalon,
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away

We can reach, we can beach far beyond the yellow sea.
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away

From peru to cebu hear the power of babylon,
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away

We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away (x5)

Ahhah, aahha, ah.

Baguio travel guide

You weight when you travel cause you also watch out for your diet. Trust me you don't want diarrhea in an unfamiliar place. So with the up and down roads of the Baguio mountains, you can really lose weight. Maybe this the reason I never seen an obese person there.

1. Travel light. Okay this I think you should bring - three shirts, three underwear, 1 pair of socks, a shorts and a long pants. Your shirts and underwear you can wash them everyday. Don't be lazy. I actually brought 5 shirts which is irritating because of the weight and have to purchase underwear cause I forgot to bring some. Also the pns camera or your mobile phone if you have nothing else. Unless you are shoot photos for a living or you really an expert on it, let your dslr camera stay at home. Some people look stupid with their dslr cams hanging on their necks. I know how the settings works for both cams although I am not an expert, and I tell you that you can shoot good to great photos with your PNS cams. It is reflective of your creativity.

2. Book early. So I went to Victory liner in Cubao which is nearest my place so I was in there before six a.m. Little did I know that buses were full already because of bookings. I was able to take the 8 a.m. ride to Baguio. I admit I am afraid of heights so looking at the ravines and not knowing if the driver is capable enough I was uncomfortable. I was like no, no, no when the driver overtakes a couple of slow-moving trucks. I mean the rule for overtaking is do it on a straight road and you have visibility of vehicles going on the two directions. Not a good idea on a dangerous curves or bends.

3. Taxi is for lazy people. Having boarded out of the bus, this guy gave me a brochure for a hotel costing Php 2,200/day which is way beyond my budget. So I asked where Sessions road is and asked for the jeepneys going there. I saw people scampering for taxis. On second thought, they might not be lazy but rather they can afford it and wanted their children to be comfortable.

3. Renting a lodge. I know from the internet that Sessions road is the place to be so that must be the center area of the Baguio. As is my guide, you have to go away from the center to find inexpensive hotels. About three to four blocks away after several inquiries, I found the Diamond Inn. I could have taken the 500-single room but I prefer to have a bathroom inside my room so I have to pay 800 pesos a day.

4. Reconnaissance. The first 2 days is like feeling out the place so when you have estimate of what to do and where to go, you also now know when to go home. So knowing this on the second day I reserved a bus ride for Cubao. Turns out this is unnecessary cause the bus ride back home has plenty of seats and so I went home earlier than booked. Nonetheless do this for precaution.

5. Buy fruits. These are like your snacks so you don't have to overspend. I end up overspending nonetheless having bought more fruits than I can consume. And the inconvenience of bringing it home.

6. Burnham park. This gets old in no time but what is important is the jeepneys around Burnham park which gets you to many places. So in the third day, I saw this Camp John Hay signboard and said to myself why not. Its a mountain trek maybe 45 degrees in steepness. Go at your own pace and take selfies if you want. Okay I am be boasting a little here but I actually drived up and down on a 75 degree inclined hill. Hahaha okay maybe 65 degress but it is really steep and going up you have to move on excruciating slow pace on the first gear.

7. Cemetery of Negativism. This is a parody of burying negativity so they have provided tombs for negative thinking. There are so many pictures so I will have to upload them in photobucket for those interested. And other pictures for that matter.

8. The bell house. Named after Major General James Franklin bell who designed the structures in Camp John Hay. As customary I snapped photos into the rooms and toilets and closets and cabinets. When I look into the mirror, I felt a hair-raising presence and ran back towards people. I still have goosebumps from the place. That is the price of acting cool and all.

9. Malls. You went up the Sessions road and you can find SM Baguio on the summit. I have been inside there maybe 3 or 4 times in the past days. There's also Robinson's Mall somewhere on the ascent and you can ride the escalators there on to the top to enter the Baguio cathedral.

10. Mines view park. I was there around 8a.m. the next day and I met a two-year old St. Bernard there. His name is Moshu. Man if you can see his size, only two years old and already about one meter in length. I passed a wishing well and flicked a five-peso coin. On to the main attraction, the mountains and clouds and trees and the miniature houses are something to behold. Add the cool weather and the sun to recharge the body. According to what I read, the rays of the sun are beneficial to the body but up to only 10a.m. when the harmful rays will be intense.

11. Luisa's cafe. Its a chinese restaurant also along at the Session's road and you can easily miss or dismiss it cause of nondescript signage and appearance. But you want to have a hearty meal in Baguio, you go there and eat anything with chinese tea. The vegetables are cooked fresh, the meat tastes good and the tea cleanses your body. Had I known this place earlier, I would not have gone to the diners and eateries there.

There you go. I may have forgotten to write some places I went to and of course, there are more places to explore there cause of time constraints like the Botanical garden, the Baguio museum and the strawberry farms for a start.

Baguio is I think the center of education in the North part of the country because people from neighboring provinces go to the universities like UP Baguio, University of the Cordilleras, St. Louis University and University of Baguio to name a few. I also think the government must give special support to this area cause its like the university belt in Manila. This place suffered so much in the earthquake before and having rebuilt to today they have diamonds in the rough there.

But I guess I was looking for more authenticity and it can't be helped. Roads are needed for development and trade and commerce. Commercialization reigned in the cities and I have been to many cities and they look sound and feel the same. Nah not being negative here, just telling the reality. We need this centers of education, learning and development in every region. I guess there has to be a balance between the old and the new culture. There's twelve regions so I hope the Department of Education is up to the challenge. Of course the main problem is in the Mindanao region. Education, sports and entertainment are the weapons we needed in order for people to have unity there.

Life and death

When someone dies, the person's life and works are on the spotlight more than ever before. Its the way people are. Like when Maya Angelou died, i admit i never know her before. I only checked her works with the flooding of tweets about her death. Same as death of artists like Kurt Cobain, MTV did a two-day marathon of his music and documentaries about his life. With this attention, I think people tend to be influenced more. I'm not gonna lie. I don't exactly what happens to the soul or spirit when we die. All I know is we have spirit inside us. This reminds me of a verse:

Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Like I said we are created in the image of God or knowledge. Its like the spirit of the person adds into us when we are influenced with their works.

Let's say in video games we defeat an opponent, the HP, MP, abilities and skills of our character will level up.

These days (17)

James 1:26
"If any man among you seeme to be religious, & bridled not his tongue, but deceiuth his owne heart, this man's religion is vaine". Think before you write. And review what you write. People with great power have great responsibility and influence. You are not a child anymore. If your writing can do more harm than good then keep silent.

Tripping
I'm going to Baguio city where the weather is cool, the grass is green and the girls are pretty. Nah just felt the need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A change of surroundings. Okay the first rule is to look for a lodging place. From experience, the best thing to do is ask people around or walk five blocks or more from the center of the city to find the inexpensive hotels. Some exercise will do you good. See you guys in a jiffy.

Running amok
Beware of these psychopaths. "Running amok is used to refer to the behavior of someone who, in the grip of strong emotion, obtains a weapon and begins attacking people indiscriminately, often with multiple fatalities. An episode of amok may be triggered by a period of depression or highly aggressive behavior. The slang term going postal is similar in scope. Police describe such an event as a killing spree. If the individual is seeking death an alternate method is often suicide by cop." This behavior was particularly observed in the Malaysian/Indonesian culture in which the word Amok originated.

Morning
So I have been listening to this guy on the radio from time to time cause he talks nonsense like Gary Lising. He says www.coursera.com will be the next big thing. I believed him and learned some things from it. But it did not become big. Then another time he says the girl from the Blurred Lines video will be the next big thing. Did not happen. Don't ever listen to this guy.

Swordfighting and Tennis
Do you see the resemblance? The forehands, backhands, smashing, serving is like fighting an opponent. Swordsmen use two hands on heavy swords and samurai. And the awkward pronation of the offhand is like holding a shield. Maybe these tennisters are modern-day swordsmen and swordswomen. So maybe Venus and Serena are like the brothers The Hound and The Mountain in Game of Thrones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qaxzwlg9N_Q Okay see the technique involved, serves and smashes are seldom used, to start a game or to finish a point. Its like the serves is the start of the attack for swordsmen and if the enemy has fallen you finish him with the smash. The volleys and half-volleys are the piercing motion for offense or defense. For long rallies or fights, tennisters use the forehands and backhands if you notice the stroke is from under up to upwards. This is similar to Taekwondo where the 45 degree kicks are from under. You master the 45 kicks and you will be difficult to defeat. Yep in MMA, the feet are used like a sword.

Blackbird
Went to Glorietta yesterday trolling around like I do and going home, you know how difficult it is to go home using the bus. I saw this building titled Blackbird and read it was a control tower before and became interested thinking it is a museum. To my surprise it is a restaurant for the high-end citizens if I may say because of the way they conduct themselves, from their looks and clothes. So I was laughing in there knowing I was in my shorts and perspiration sticked the t-shirt to my skin because of walking. Nonetheless I felt comfortable in there. I went up the stairs to check out the place some more and then went on my way.

Migration

Because of the cold weather, Americans are hairy which functions as clothing. Asians meanwhile have thick straight hair so obviously it not for the cold weather. We only have two seasons; the rainy season and the summer so the hair is like the roof of a house so that the rain water drips around the sides. My questions is if an Asian migrates to Europe or where there are four seasons, do their hair also adapt? And if a westerner goes to southeast asia, what happens to the hair? The eyebrows also acts like a wiper. And the armpits hair is like a downspout for perspiration. For friction also so that the armpits get warm. Yep you are not supposed to remove the hair from your armpits. God has a purpose for that. Why you people are stubborn? Also the migration of food and animals. Maybe this is the essence of the Tower of babel. Story in Genesis says that people only speak one language and built a tower. God changed their language so that they cannot understand each other to scatter them all over the earth. My understanding is let us say they have one language. But people have they have their own opinions so I say disagreements occurred. Some chose to move on and some chose to stay. Some maybe groups and some couples and maybe individuals in their lonesome. And so a group settled in Africa, their skin gets scorched by the sun and their limbs adjusted to hunting animals and being hunted by animals. White people goes to the Americas, and hunted animals also but they have shelter in caves. They developed thin hairy skin to adjust to the snow. Asians are small because of the plants like rice available to the region while Americans are taller because of the bread. I think I have said it that Asians are getting taller because of the modified diet nowadays. This is evolution.

The Race Equation
Brown + Yellow = Yellow
Brown + White = White
Brown + Black = Black
Yellow + White = White
Yellow + Black = Black
White + Black = Black
Iit seems that black music is the happiest of all. So this may be or may not be the final evolution in terms of the physical, but we must adapt the progression of happy attitude.

Let us look at this from another angle, say in terms of religion. Brown are christians, yellow are buddhists and black and white are atheists, agnostics or protestants. This is generally speaking. So whats stagnating the development of the browns and yellows? Their attachment to religious practices and dogmas that delay human progress. Did you get it or did you get it?

Mirrors
Parent owls (because they are the biggest) with four baby owls, elephants, poodles, 2 pairs of chickens, frogs, goats, turtles, lots of pigs, hybrid pigs. there are also other animals not in the picture. As we practice here, there are characteristics distinct to animals that can relate to countries. I guess the Philippines is one of the elephants. Just as Earth is the elephant. Will go back to take photos of all the animals. Of course I like to give details but I only brought my kit lens today.

Spinsters
Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
It means you have to get educated to find wisdom and from what you learned you set your standards in having friends, career and dating I guess. When you get educated these things will be added unto you - food, shelter, clothing and everything that comes with it because you have diploma and/or you are working with your God-given talents. Do not worry for tomorrow cause as much as powerful you think you are, there are things out of your control. If you are a spinster, follow your standard and all these things shall be added unto you. I'm not saying you should flirt but a smile goes a long way into the heart.

Hunger games
When this film was shown I thought it has similarities right-away with the Philippines. The 12 districts of Panem for example, while PH has 12 regions. Okay I won't be a hypocrite to say this has nothing to do with sex, rather I'd say only partially. With the population explosion, not just in the PH, but including the whole world, it has mainly to do with hunger for knowledge and education. How do we limit dumb people from reproducing? How to make most of bright people?

The Race Equation
Brown + Yellow = Yellow
Brown + White = White
Brown + Black = Black
Yellow + White = White
Yellow + Black = Black
White + Black = Black
Okay okay I was half-joking when I first wrote this but looking at my playlist in sports and entertainment it seems that black music is the happiest of all. So this may be or may not be the final evolution in terms of the physical, but we must adapt the progression of happy attitude.

Visit the Philippines

Ancient people pay homage to the Gods like in Mexico's Teotihuacan. 3 pyramids patterned to the Orion belt.

Talking about mirrors and malls, Filipino builders also mirrored the stars in the heavens. You see I compare the Orion belt stars to the Trinoma mall and next to it the SM North Edsa mall. Its like the Sirius star and Orion. And farther away, we have the Mall of Asia which I compare to Earth. And we have other star systems like the Robinsons, Ayalas, SMs and etcetera. We also have malls older than SM North Edsa like Harrison Plaza and Ali Mall. Crazy thought its like saying all these star systems have alien life. I'm basically grasping for straws here. What I am saying is come, visit the Philippines. Its fun here and the people are accommodating. We also have white sand beaches, resorts and other natural attractions. Moreover I think shopping is relatively inexpensive.

Solace in books and music

I love books. The smell of the paper, how I search through them or just trolling in the shops. Usually with recommendations like best-sellers etcetera. I think Flowers for Algernon and A Little Princess were recommended to me in high school. I occasionally flip to the pages of those books to see a particular scene. I am a slow reader so short stories appeal to me more. However if the novels are well-written, the pages just fly. Like in the case of all books from Dan Brown and Scott Turow. From Michael Crichton, I love The Great Train Robbery and Timeline. From Arthur Hailey, I read hotel and Strong Medicine in an instant. I am fascinated with the Detective genre so naturally I follow religiously the stories of Sherlock Holmes. I was also surprised to know that Ian Fleming's 007 series is superbly written. As I said writers nowadays are copying about seventy five percent of the works of the past but they are interesting nonetheless cause they add their personal touch in the remaining 25% that makes it unique I guess. Even George Lucas read a lot of scifi books to create his Star Wars. Feeling tired atm, will probably add something later.

Solace in music
Finally found the song! Rock and ballads are my kind of music and occasionally mainstream like Heart Attack from Demi Lovato. Got a terrible LSS on this for weeks already. I thought the refrain goes 'flyyyyy' that is why I cannot find it.

Pregnant celebrities

I think its foolish, stupid and careless for women to be having pictorials while they are pregnant. Okay you still look good with your bloated belly but this is not about you. Its about your unborn kid. You should be taking care of the baby. You know you do not want to have miscarriage while showing the world that you look good being pregnant. And the camera lights stunts the growth of people. I know famous local child stars that remained small. Now you say you might need the money. Its the husband's responsibility to finance his family. The wife's duty is to take care of the well-being of her family. If you are a single parent then i'd say you work but seek support from your family and friends.

Matthew 19

1 And it came to pass , that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan; 2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. 3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful * for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read , that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said , For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be * one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together , let not man put asunder . 7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away ? 8 He saith unto them *, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say unto you *, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery : and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. 10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry .
The grounds for divorce is fornication. And fixed marriages and insanity. It says there God will join them. God is love. Without love, the marriage is null and void.
11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given . 12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
Marrying is not for all people. There are people who were born to be spinsters like homosexuals. Some people are to be single because of choice and circumstances and there are people who will be single in pursuit of knowledge.
13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray : and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said , Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
Let the children play and learn knowledge for they are sponges. Caution is that they have to have good role-models cause children follow what they see. They have little idea of what is right and what is wrong. And I guess you know who are good role-models in contrast to fornicators.
16 And, behold , one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do , that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which *? Jesus said , Thou shalt do no murder , Thou shalt not commit adultery , Thou shalt not steal , Thou shalt not bear false witness , 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast , and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful : for he had * great possessions.
You see in the previous post we said that 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God..." Obviously the young man is not learned and comes off as arrogant. Like a baby in knowledge. So Jesus challenged him to sell his things and give to the poor. Did Jesus say that the young man give all his money? Nope, it is not logical because how would the young man live? In all probability the young man refused to donate to charity or to organize activities for the poor.
23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed , saying , Who then can be saved ? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
At first thought. it is really impossible that a camel goes through the eye of the needle. However if we cremate the camel, the dust goes through the eye of the needle. The dust collected is comparable to cremated humans which is a handful so it would be difficult and will require effort. But I think the rich can unlearn the bad habits they have and seek the knowledge.
27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold , we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
Those who have learned knowledge shall lead, make laws and discipline the citizens of the world.
