I have not seen a full basketball game in quite a while. I'm into volleyball nowadays. Actually I like the Russia National Women's Volleyball team. No idea who's gonna win the NBA playoffs. I think the music below does not tell anything.
My advice on religions
Like I said if a religion prevents you from being the best that you can be, then what are you waiting for? Get out of there. When people regard you as belonging to a cult, that prevents you from the being the best you can be. You cannot freely chase your passions whether it be in education, in entertainment and in sports. And that would be a shame. For parents, do this for your kids. For them to live in normal surroundings. The good soil. When they come of age, teach them your churches' doctrines and let the adult decide where to go. For other churches which has similar conditions like that of Catholics, like Protestants for example, no need to rock the boat if the religion urges you to be the best you can be.
And the road becomes my bride
I have stripped of all but pride
So in her I do confide
And she keeps me satisfied
Gives me all I need
And with dust in throat I crave Only knowledge will I save
To the game you stay a slave
Rover, wanderer
Nomad, vagabond
Call me what you will
But I'll take my time anywhere Free to speak my mind anywhere And I'll redefine anywhere
Anywhere I Rome
Where I lay my head is home
And the earth becomes my throne
I adapt to the unknown
Under wandering stars I've grown
By myself but not alone
I ask no one
And my ties are severed clean
The less I have the more I gain
Off the beaten path I reign
Rover, wanderer
Nomad, vagabond
Call me what you will
But I'll take my time anywhere
I'm free to speak my mind anywhere
And I'll never mind anywhere
Anywhere I Rome
Where I lay my head is home
But I'll take my time anywhere
I'm free to speak my mind anywhere
And I'll redefine anywhere
Anywhere I Rome
Where I lay my head is home
Carved upon my stone
My body lie, but still I Rome
Wherever I may Rome
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
A lot of "prophets" I heard say that the beast refers to the Roman Catholic Church. Particularly the Pope, not the person but the position. They used the roman numerals for the letters and it adds up to 666 if I remember correctly . Some says its the perfect imperfection because 6 is an imperfect number and the numbers 3 and 7 are perfect ones. I would say this is a negative way of viewing things. Six is next to seven. Its close to perfection. Besides we don't expect people to change overnight. It takes decades I guess. 777 - 666 = 111 years?
Acts 10
9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
God will clean the beasts and the creeping things and the fowls of the air. Meaning all kinds of churches and mosques and temples and schools of thought. All in God's time.
You cannot completely distinguish good people from bad people because you cannot see their hearts. It follows that you cannot be sure if the money coming from them is from good works or not. Are you God that you can discern all the works of every man? Absolutely not. Verse 15 says God has cleansed the wild beasts - it is now just and right to utilize the money given for the purposes of education, social work and humanitarian work.
But this does not justify the evil works of rich men. Remember to go through the eye of the needle.
More on the Sabbath
God is Lord of the Sabbath meaning us people who are created in the image of God can tell our rest day. Say you will schedule and organize your activities. Your body will tell if its time to rest. Sometimes we have absences cause we are sick. Sometimes we schedule exercise activities. Sometimes schedule for watching basketball and etcetera. It depends on your work load.
I would say addiction to gambling is bad but if you bet for fun and you can afford it, why not? I occasionally bet on teams I evaluated cause it is fun and exciting. I think casinos are like malls and probably I just enjoy strolling there and put some coins in the slot machines. And the blackjack and the poker game. You see these are games of strategies, its a form of mental exercise. However if you bet on all contenders, its not funny. No fun at all really.
1 Timothy 6
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
You see, this is about excessive gambling and other vices which drives you to destruction or bankruptcy. Avoid being addicted to gambling. Do things in moderation and within your budget. If it hurts your budget and your life and relations, then go away from the casinos. Love of money is bad if gained in corrupted ways. However if you seek the kingdom of God, which is good works, the riches will come to you.
As for the rich who became rich because of corruption like in Heisenberg from Breaking Bad, get rid of the bad works. The camel goes through the eye of the needle if the bad works are cremated.
Matthew 6
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Verse 22 and 23 means see things in perspective. Do not be cross-eyed or judge right away. Narrow-minded people will be enveloped by corrupt thoughts. Verse 24 you cannot serve God and money. Like we said before, seek the kingdom of God first. You use your God-given talents to succeed, then God is your master. Not money. The money or riches is added unto you.
In the Bible there are pagans who do the works of God without hearing the word of God. Because the good works are written in their hearts. They have in their conscience to do what is right. And they have made full use of the talents from God. We should not judge them for being rich.
Romans 2
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Baby names
Okay I think this one the wife decides. Because she is the one who carried the baby in the tummy. The husband can suggest but overall she has the decision.
Reincarnation
So I do not really know the concept of how souls get into newborns. But I have a thought that has been bugging me. I think I have brushed upon this topic before. You see in the horoscope there are mutable signs meaning they take the form of vessels. Suppose that the vessels are our bodies. And if you are born under the signs of pisces, cancer or scorpio, you easily adjust into the body. Other signs are not as flexible so some of these may be the eunuchs. Also the mutable signs can take any work they wanted cause they can adjust or learn or adapt quickly. You guys believe this sh!t? Okay how about ashes to ashes. Maybe the process has to be complete for the soul to released back. Or maybe like the video games and in basketball, you have maximum number of players. And some you have to reserve or put in the bench.
One man army
Ramon S. Subejano is a filipino version of John Rambo. Rambo is also known as a filipino slang for running amok. "At the risk of his life, Pvt. Subejano made his way along through devastating 20 mm and machine gun fire and hand grenade explosions to the building. He then entered the strong point and going from room to room, killed five enemy, wounded six and forced the remaining 37 to surrender.[3] At the end of the war he was flown to London for the victory parade, where he was presented to King George and Sir Winston Churchill". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramon_S._Subejano
Kid stuff
I think the best thing your kids can learn in the summer is driving. I tell you my mind became sharper when I learned how to drive. Something to do with hand, feet and eye coordination. You can go to the arcades for video games or playstation, nintendo, xbox or go kart racing. Also swimming, tennis, squash, table tennis, badminton, rowing, kayaking, cycling etcetera.
SEA Games
Always been a fan of the games. Olympics, world cups and etcetera. But still the Philippines have not won any gold medals in the Olympics. Although we can say had two already. There was a Filipina diver before who won the gold medal but she married her American coach so it was counted for the US. The other gold is from Arianne Cerdena but bowling is just an exhibition game in the Olympics then. I would say boxing is our best chance because we have the resources. However in choosing the boxers we are already disadvantaged. Thailand and the Europeans have already made the blueprint on how to win in Amateur boxing. Choose tall and lanky boxers cause the white portion of the gloves scores the point. So the long limbs have the advantage from the start. I am forgetting Cuba, they still the best in this sport.
Happy
I am happy. Ecstatic even. I am so much flattered, humbled and just happy from the warmth. I mean I was going nowhere and I found the road. A purpose. I'm not done yet though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We827tUQmzM
The magic wand
For real men, its time for you to cast demons out of the lesbians. You successfully removed the demons from them, then congratulations, you are from God. But do not play with them cause that is ungodly. If you have no serious intentions on the woman then get away as early as possible. For real women, do not attempt to cast out demons from male homosexuals and other variants. The Bible says some Eunuchs are born natural so you cannot do anything for them cause its their nature.
Utilizing the sun
I think its better to adjust the working hours from 8a.m. into an earlier 7a.m. The reason is that the sun is up at around 6a.m. already so we're like wasting the sunlight. When workers go out at 4p.m., there still a lot of time to do something. Worthwhile things. Or you just relax. Work hard early, play hard early.
1Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour. 2A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left. 3Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.
It means to guard and protect your reputation at all costs. Verses 2 and 3 right hand means use your heart for wisdom. It does not mean left handers are no good. It just means use your stronger hand in decisions and not the off-hand. I think the more appropriate sentence is 'A wise man's heart is at his iron hand'. Half-hearted attempts at something are foolish and stupid and useless.
4If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences. 5There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: 6Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place. 7I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. 8He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. 9Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby. 10If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. 11Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better. 12The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. 13The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness. 14A fool also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him? 15The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
I think this is about leadership and coup attempts and discontent. If you are lax and do not discipline your citizens, they will ask for things how ever stupid it may be. The reason is you allow it. You allow servants to rule and the leaders cringe from them. Evaluate the pros and cons of your actions so you will not fall into the trap you set. Sharpen your swords or your minds so you will be wise. You can achieve this by studying more. If you are wise, the snake bites will have no effect. You can observe a wise man by the way he talks and a fool while he stumbles and contradicts himself. Blind men cannot lead. If there is a coup attempt, you handle this by being fair but firm. Rule with the iron hand. If you hold on to power and conclude matters peacefully if possible, it means you are a worthy leader. Yielding means you are either corrupted or incompetent or both.
16Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! 17Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!
It means the country is miserable if the one running the country is a prince instead of the king. The reason is the king is not capable. So the country is blessed if their leader knows what he is doing and his successors are learning from him and on the job training.
18By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through. 19A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things. 20Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
It means fine dining, trips and entertainment are okay as long as its from your blood, sweat and tears. Remember that 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you". That includes riches and everything. That is the fruit of your labors. To those jealous and curse you at the back, then pay no mind because you have a clear conscience on where you get your wealth. To jealous people, you should strive harder, study harder to get to where successful people are.
You can also apply this to anything like sports. You have to practice to sharpen your craft so that in the actual game, it would be easier. Do not let the building or your body or your mind decay. Participate in strenuous sports. I think tennis, squash, badminton, rowing and swimming are way up on the most strenuous sports. Take a look at TD21, he is like swimming in his effortless low post moves.
Exodus 20
1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
God is knowledge as what we been saying all along so I think Verses 1-7 refers to useless, tasteless and dirty reading materials. And that goes to other forms of media like radio, television and the internet. Like I said stop the porn watching.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Sunday is a rest day for most people. God said in Verse 8 to keep it holy. This is for people with irregular time shifts like doctors-on-call and taxi drivers for that matter. In Verse 11 it say God hallowed it or made it holy. Which is why people gets double pay on holidays because it is supposed to be a holiday or a rest day. Volunteers in disaster-hit areas have even more nobler purposes. We should commend these people for sacrificing their rest days. God thinks highly of these people.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 13 Thou shalt not kill. 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
These are self-explanatory.
18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
People are saying teach us knowledge, they are scared cause they cannot understand the book, probably about Trigonometry.
21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. 22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. 23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
In teaching knowledge, there should be no adornments such as gold and silver. All flowery talk and yet there is no learning. That is similar to arrogance.
24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
Earth refers to humbleness when we talk. Remember the Parable of the House Guest? It says stay in the farthest room in a party and wait for the call from the House Master.
25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
Stone means foundation - teach people while they are young.
26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
Students be prepared for your assignments because you do not want to embarrassed in front of the class on recitations or tests.

The Pharisees saw Jesus working on Sabbath day.
Mark 3
1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. 2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. 3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. 4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. 5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. 6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath.
Matthew 12
1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? 6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. 7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
The Golden rule
Matthew 7:12
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Luke 6:31
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
Pyramids
Like I tole you before I used to walk in Palau before looking at the corals and just trolling. You see people go here cause its one of the best diving spots in the world. The tiny nation is a republic but is dependent on th U.S.A. I mean their passports are entries to the U.S.A. and they have rights like that of a U.S. citizen. When I saw the view below, I was reminded instantly of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code and the Louvre pyramids. I saw the movie again in HBO recently.
Orinoco flow (Sail away) from Enya
Verse 1:
Let me sail, let me sail, let the orinoco flow,
Let me reach, let me beach on the shores of tripoli.
Let me sail, let me sail, let me crash upon your shore,
Let me reach, let me beach far beyond the yellow sea.
Sail away, sail away, sail away. (x3)
Verse 2:
From bissau to palau - in the shade of avalon,
From fiji to tiree and the isles of ebony,
From peru to cebu hear the power of babylon,
From bali to cali - far beneath the coral sea.
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up, up adieu. ohh. (x3)
Sail away, sail away, sail away. (x3)
Verse 3:
From the north to the south, ebudae into khartoum,
From the deep sea of clouds to the island of the moon,
Carry me on the waves to the land I've never been,
Carry me on the waves to the lands I've never seen.
We can sail, we can sail... with the orinoco flow
We can sail, we can sail...
Sail away, sail away, sail away.
We can steer, we can near with rob dickins at the wheel,
We can sigh, say goodbye ross and his dependencies
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away
We can reach, we can beach on the shores of tripoli.
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away
From bali to cali - far beneath the coral sea.
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away
From bissau to palau - in the shade of avalon,
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away
We can reach, we can beach far beyond the yellow sea.
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away
From peru to cebu hear the power of babylon,
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away
We can sail, we can sail
Sail away , sail away, sail away (x5)

You weight when you travel cause you also watch out for your diet. Trust me you don't want diarrhea in an unfamiliar place. So with the up and down roads of the Baguio mountains, you can really lose weight. Maybe this the reason I never seen an obese person there.
1. Travel light. Okay this I think you should bring - three shirts, three underwear, 1 pair of socks, a shorts and a long pants. Your shirts and underwear you can wash them everyday. Don't be lazy. I actually brought 5 shirts which is irritating because of the weight and have to purchase underwear cause I forgot to bring some. Also the pns camera or your mobile phone if you have nothing else. Unless you are shoot photos for a living or you really an expert on it, let your dslr camera stay at home. Some people look stupid with their dslr cams hanging on their necks. I know how the settings works for both cams although I am not an expert, and I tell you that you can shoot good to great photos with your PNS cams. It is reflective of your creativity.
2. Book early. So I went to Victory liner in Cubao which is nearest my place so I was in there before six a.m. Little did I know that buses were full already because of bookings. I was able to take the 8 a.m. ride to Baguio. I admit I am afraid of heights so looking at the ravines and not knowing if the driver is capable enough I was uncomfortable. I was like no, no, no when the driver overtakes a couple of slow-moving trucks. I mean the rule for overtaking is do it on a straight road and you have visibility of vehicles going on the two directions. Not a good idea on a dangerous curves or bends.
3. Taxi is for lazy people. Having boarded out of the bus, this guy gave me a brochure for a hotel costing Php 2,200/day which is way beyond my budget. So I asked where Sessions road is and asked for the jeepneys going there. I saw people scampering for taxis. On second thought, they might not be lazy but rather they can afford it and wanted their children to be comfortable.
3. Renting a lodge. I know from the internet that Sessions road is the place to be so that must be the center area of the Baguio. As is my guide, you have to go away from the center to find inexpensive hotels. About three to four blocks away after several inquiries, I found the Diamond Inn. I could have taken the 500-single room but I prefer to have a bathroom inside my room so I have to pay 800 pesos a day.
4. Reconnaissance. The first 2 days is like feeling out the place so when you have estimate of what to do and where to go, you also now know when to go home. So knowing this on the second day I reserved a bus ride for Cubao. Turns out this is unnecessary cause the bus ride back home has plenty of seats and so I went home earlier than booked. Nonetheless do this for precaution.
5. Buy fruits. These are like your snacks so you don't have to overspend. I end up overspending nonetheless having bought more fruits than I can consume. And the inconvenience of bringing it home.
6. Burnham park. This gets old in no time but what is important is the jeepneys around Burnham park which gets you to many places. So in the third day, I saw this Camp John Hay signboard and said to myself why not. Its a mountain trek maybe 45 degrees in steepness. Go at your own pace and take selfies if you want. Okay I am be boasting a little here but I actually drived up and down on a 75 degree inclined hill. Hahaha okay maybe 65 degress but it is really steep and going up you have to move on excruciating slow pace on the first gear.
7. Cemetery of Negativism. This is a parody of burying negativity so they have provided tombs for negative thinking. There are so many pictures so I will have to upload them in photobucket for those interested. And other pictures for that matter.
8. The bell house. Named after Major General James Franklin bell who designed the structures in Camp John Hay. As customary I snapped photos into the rooms and toilets and closets and cabinets. When I look into the mirror, I felt a hair-raising presence and ran back towards people. I still have goosebumps from the place. That is the price of acting cool and all.
9. Malls. You went up the Sessions road and you can find SM Baguio on the summit. I have been inside there maybe 3 or 4 times in the past days. There's also Robinson's Mall somewhere on the ascent and you can ride the escalators there on to the top to enter the Baguio cathedral.
10. Mines view park. I was there around 8a.m. the next day and I met a two-year old St. Bernard there. His name is Moshu. Man if you can see his size, only two years old and already about one meter in length. I passed a wishing well and flicked a five-peso coin. On to the main attraction, the mountains and clouds and trees and the miniature houses are something to behold. Add the cool weather and the sun to recharge the body. According to what I read, the rays of the sun are beneficial to the body but up to only 10a.m. when the harmful rays will be intense.
11. Luisa's cafe. Its a chinese restaurant also along at the Session's road and you can easily miss or dismiss it cause of nondescript signage and appearance. But you want to have a hearty meal in Baguio, you go there and eat anything with chinese tea. The vegetables are cooked fresh, the meat tastes good and the tea cleanses your body. Had I known this place earlier, I would not have gone to the diners and eateries there.
There you go. I may have forgotten to write some places I went to and of course, there are more places to explore there cause of time constraints like the Botanical garden, the Baguio museum and the strawberry farms for a start.
Baguio is I think the center of education in the North part of the country because people from neighboring provinces go to the universities like UP Baguio, University of the Cordilleras, St. Louis University and University of Baguio to name a few. I also think the government must give special support to this area cause its like the university belt in Manila. This place suffered so much in the earthquake before and having rebuilt to today they have diamonds in the rough there.
But I guess I was looking for more authenticity and it can't be helped. Roads are needed for development and trade and commerce. Commercialization reigned in the cities and I have been to many cities and they look sound and feel the same. Nah not being negative here, just telling the reality. We need this centers of education, learning and development in every region. I guess there has to be a balance between the old and the new culture. There's twelve regions so I hope the Department of Education is up to the challenge. Of course the main problem is in the Mindanao region. Education, sports and entertainment are the weapons we needed in order for people to have unity there.
When someone dies, the person's life and works are on the spotlight more than ever before. Its the way people are. Like when Maya Angelou died, i admit i never know her before. I only checked her works with the flooding of tweets about her death. Same as death of artists like Kurt Cobain, MTV did a two-day marathon of his music and documentaries about his life. With this attention, I think people tend to be influenced more. I'm not gonna lie. I don't exactly what happens to the soul or spirit when we die. All I know is we have spirit inside us. This reminds me of a verse:
Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Like I said we are created in the image of God or knowledge. Its like the spirit of the person adds into us when we are influenced with their works.
Let's say in video games we defeat an opponent, the HP, MP, abilities and skills of our character will level up.
